During 2022, more than 165,000 people were assisted by Mensajeros de la Paz

In Mensajeros de la Paz, we present our annual report for the year 2022. This report showcases the efforts, achievements, and challenges faced throughout the past year, as we work towards making a better world possible.

During 2022, through our more than 50 projects in Spain and our presence in 76 countries worldwide, Mensajeros de la Paz continued its commitment to promoting social justice among the most vulnerable groups: people experiencing homelessness, women victims of violence, children, youth, families, and individuals facing undesirable circumstances, particularly elderly people.

At the national level, one of the highlights was the launch of the Alamín Project, consisting of 96 social housing units in Guadalajara, where we provide comprehensive support to families living there, all of whom are at risk of social exclusion.

Internationally, we focused our tireless efforts on countries like Ukraine and Honduras. In 2022, the most significant challenge on the international front was the Ukraine War.

Since the onset of the war, our actions have aimed to provide emergency aid to people within Ukraine, at its borders, and those who arrived in Spain or moved to other countries. We adapted our actions according to the ever-changing needs, collaborating with other NGOs and official organizations. Moreover, we provided humanitarian assistance and facilitated the relocation of refugees to Romania, Moldova, and Poland.

Throughout all our work, we remain committed to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We have identified that our organization contributes to all 17 SDGs, with a particular emphasis on SDGs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 16, and 17.

None of this would have been possible without the constant support of our dedicated staff, volunteers, donors, and all the friendly entities and companies that support our projects and corporate volunteering initiatives.
