The Pope and Padre Ángel have had several previous encounters over the years. In December 2022, they had a private audience that lasted for more than an hour.
This time, a small delegation from Mensajeros de la Paz had the privilege of being invited to attend the weekly General Audience at the Vatican. During the audience, the Pope emphasized that “on the path of holiness, which is the Christian path, the poor and marginalized are protagonists, and a person cannot progress in holiness without also dedicating themselves to them”. Padre Ángel stated that “listening to the Pope is always precious; he always has words of encouragement”.
Isabel Celaá, the Ambassador of Spain to the Holy See, expressed: “It is an honor to receive you. It is an honor to know that Mensajeros de la Paz exists”.
One of the destinations during the trip was the Church of Santa Lucía de Gonfalone, where we collaborated in supporting the breakfast given to individuals in vulnerable situations.
Lastly, we were received by the Ambassador of Spain to the Vatican, former Minister Isabel Celaá.
During this meeting, we had the opportunity to present her with some gifts.

We would like to particularly highlight the kindness with which the ambassador treated us, showing us around the embassy, which is the oldest one in the Vatican, and offering us refreshments.
