Dear friends,
Since the inception of Mensajeros de la Paz, we have tirelessly worked in Spain and in 76 other countries around the world, driving projects that contribute to improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable and marginalized individuals in our society. At the same time, we promote their empowerment so they can defend their rights and dignity.
Today, we have no doubt that we are a network of organizations and collaborators who work together as “Mensajeros de la Paz” because we firmly believe that, with everyone’s effort, a better world is possible.
For over 60 years, we have shared the same vision, values, passion, and commitment to those who have the least. Throughout these years, society has evolved significantly, and we have adapted to the various social realities in Spain and the rest of the world. This has led us to introduce changes that we implement year after year to adapt to the times, while remaining faithful to the initial values that guide us in fulfilling our mission and objectives.
Furthermore, the vulnerability of the people we work for makes it necessary to increase the level of demand and control over our actions and ensure the protection of individuals.
With great enthusiasm, we share this ETHICAL CODE that will help us work according to the values and principles we have always followed, guiding us when facing possible ethical dilemmas.
It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to consolidate this legacy by firmly ensuring the ethics and integrity of our own actions in accordance with human rights and criteria of social justice, in an atmosphere of collaboration and mutual respect.
Therefore, this Ethical Code must be known, internalized, consulted, and promoted by all individuals who are part of this great family that is Mensajeros de la Paz, so that it guides our decision-making and actions.
Thank you for continuing to help us promote the spirit that gave rise to Mensajeros de la Paz.
Warm regards,
Padre Ángel – President and Founder
