Following the visit of Father Ángel and the Mensajeros de la Paz team to Jordan, our work in the region continues to grow stronger through new concrete actions in support of displaced children and families from Gaza.
In collaboration with the Jordanian Ministry of Social Development, we have begun implementing a comprehensive support plan at a center where several children are currently sheltered after arriving in the country in urgent need of medical care. Key measures include:
- Distribution of infant milk to ensure proper nutrition for children in recovery.
- Recreational activities held on September 29, including games, face painting, and art workshops, offering moments of joy and emotional relief.
- A non-formal education plan which includes hiring two teachers to provide classes in mathematics, Arabic, science, and English, ensuring continuity in learning.
- Structured psychological support with the planned incorporation of a psychologist who will work directly with the children and their families to strengthen emotional resilience.
In addition, from our headquarters in Jordan, we have supported the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem with a financial donation for the purchase of infant milk for over 130 displaced families inside Gaza who are facing extreme famine conditions. This initiative adds to our joint efforts to uphold the right to health and nutrition for the youngest, even in the midst of conflict.
Each of these initiatives reaffirms our commitment to Palestinian children—not only as recipients of aid, but as children with the right to protection, education, health, and hope.
