The project aims to ensure the well-being of children aged 0 to 12 while their caregivers work or receive training, providing a safe and caring environment throughout the school year and supporting family-work balance. This year, we highlight excursions made possible thanks to Fundación Telefónica: Cortylandia, Madrid Río, the bowling alley, and ice skating. There was also the opportunity to visit a farm school with the NGO 105 JUGUETES. In addition, during the summer camp, we were able to carry out activities such as visits to Madrid’s amusement park and the swimming pool.

HOME CARE

MensajerosAD has surpassed 1.000 direct beneficiaries supported by certified social workers across the entire national territory. We remain committed to the Deinstitutionalization Plan and to address unwanted loneliness.
In 2025, we supported Digilab Care, bringing technology to vulnerable households and promoting the employment opportunities of women caregivers. This work was recognized with the 1st National Supercuidadores Award in the social and healthcare sector.

PADRE ÁNGEL SOCIAL FOUNDATION

To combat unwanted loneliness

The Padre Ángel Social Foundation works to prevent, identify, and alleviate unwanted loneliness, always placing people at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment begins with raising social awareness about this issue and continues by supporting those who experience it in silence.

In 2025, the Padre Ángel Social Foundation led a petition before the United Nations to have December 16 officially recognized as the International Day Against Unwanted Loneliness, promoting awareness and reflection initiatives to bring visibility to this issue.

Within this framework, the Foundation assumed the management of the Golden Telephone and took part in conferences and events alongside Nebrija University and Nebrija Foundation, Miguel de Cervantes European University, and Alfonso X el Sabio University.

GOLDEN TELEPHONE

Throughout 2025, the Golden Telephone, 900 22 22 23, continued to provide emotional support and companionship to people experiencing unwanted loneliness across all provinces of Spain, consolidating its role as a free, accessible, and people-centered service. The service also celebrated its 30th Anniversary, a milestone that highlighted its long-standing history, social impact, and ongoing commitment to addressing unwanted loneliness.

Key achievements, changes, and improvements: consolidation of the service, strengthened support and companionship, recognition of its social impact, and enhanced organization and quality of care.

During the year, we handled 37,640 calls, providing support 24 hours a day.

JUSTO CATHEDRAL SOCIAL CENTER

Justo’s Cathedral collaborated with Cáritas Nuestra Señora del Rosario of Mejorada del Campo in the distribution of food baskets to 156 families (an average of 20 per week), as well as in the delivery of more than 30 toys to children from the families supported by the program.

CARE FOR PEOPLE IN SITUATIONS OF SOCIAL EXCLUSION

CHURCH AND SOCIAL
CENTER OF SAN ANTÓN

Throughout 2025, we maintained an active pastoral ministry, with daily Masses and prayers, as well as the celebration of sacraments and religious festivities. These services were offered both in person and via livestream, making them accessible to everyone.

In the field of social intervention, we provide daily support and guidance to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of social exclusion. This assistance is delivered through a holistic approach, thanks to the collaboration of professionals in social work, law, psychology, and coaching.

Cultural activity has also been a fundamental pillar of our work. During 2025, San Antón Church hosted more than 100 cultural events, including choir performances, concerts, talks, and gatherings open to the community.

During 2025, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the beginning of our work here.

We have provided more than 100,000 breakfasts to people experiencing homelessness or severe socioeconomic exclusion, thanks to the support of our volunteers.

SOLIDARITY PANTRY

In 2025, the Mensajeros de la Paz Solidarity Food Pantry provided food assistance to 200 families each month.

Throughout the year, the service expanded from two to four distribution days per week, adding two distribution shifts and increasing the amount of food provided to each family in order to respond to the growing needs identified.

ROBIN HOOD SOLIDARITY
RESTAURANT

At Metro Bistró Restaurant, we provide dinner to people at risk of social exclusion. This project goes beyond offering food; it seeks to restore dignity by creating a welcoming environment where our volunteers accompany and support people 365 days a year.

In 2025, we served more than 12,700 dinners.

PATHWAYS TO EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
PROGRAM – PROSOL

The PROSOL program is co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and aims to support people in vulnerable situations by facilitating their access to the labor market through personalized training pathways and mentoring processes.

Throughout 2025, several training pathways were implemented, focusing on enhancing participants’ employability and strengthening their personal skills and competencies.

During 2025, we welcomed 35 individuals into the program, 10 of whom successfully completed their support process and were able to begin a new stage of their lives independently.

Among the year’s most significant achievements: 2 individuals joined Mensajeros de la Paz as employees and 4 obtained approvals for their residence and work permits.

ALAMÍN SOCIAL HOUSING

We continued to manage 96 social housing units in Guadalajara, providing families with food through our solidarity food pantry and clothing from our solidarity clothing bank.

In 2025, we successfully welcomed an additional family into our social housing program and carried out more than 40 repairs and maintenance interventions across the housing units. In the area of
education, a computer classroom will soon be established to host workshops, training sessions, and community talks.

VALENCIAN COMMUNITY

In 2025, Mensajeros de la Paz in the Valencian Community continued operating its key support services, including the Social Dining Service – Take Away, Solidarity Food Pantry, Clothing Bank and Hygiene Bus, strengthening assistance for individuals and families in vulnerable situations. In addition, significant efforts were devoted to the development of projects that are set to be consolidated in 2026: La Casita de Mensajeros, located in Cabanyal-Canyamelar and aimed at mothers and children aged 0 to 3 and La Casita de Algemesí, designed for children aged 6 to 12 living in a particularly vulnerable environment.

Following the DANA floods, Mensajeros de la Paz continued to support affected families beyond the initial emergency response.
Throughout 2025, assistance focused on home rehabilitation, the purchase of household appliances, furniture, and essential household items, as well as support for older people through the restoration of two senior centers in Algemesí and Albal. It was a
year of recovery, support, and reconstruction, while also laying the groundwork for new social prevention initiatives.

FIRES IN LEÓN

During the severe wildfires that affected Castile and León, we welcomed a group of 20 older adults from the village of Castro (León), which had been impacted by the forest fires, to our residential home in La Bañeza. We also accommodated another group consisting of several families from the same village, providing them with a safe place to rest.

We also provided accommodation for all residents of the Castrocalbón residential home, as well as several residents from Astorga and family members of staff working at the La Bañeza residential home. In addition, residents from Alija del Infantado were relocated to and accommodated in our residential homes in León and Benavente.
