SPECIAL GREETING

Dear Friends,

This year, 2024, at Mensajeros, we have continued our work of supporting, helping, and listening to all those in vulnerable situations, regardless of their country, age, belief, or religion. One of the main disasters that has shocked us this year has been the situation in Valencia following the passage of the DANA. Thousands of people lost everything: their homes, their jobs, and even their loved ones. However, thanks to your solidarity, Mensajeros has been able to be in the front lines, supporting those affected in the most difficult moments.

Tolerance, solidarity, justice, and respect are our constant guiding principles and what drive us in all our actions. These values have driven us to develop the PROSOL program, which aims to promote the social and labor inclusion of people in vulnerable situations, helping them access dignified employment. We have also established the Padre Ángel Social Foundation, which is responsible for promoting initiatives against unwanted loneliness.

2024 has been a year marked by effort, work, and perseverance, where we have continued to align our projects with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). And we cannot forget that all of this has been possible thanks to the dedication of volunteers, the support of collaborating companies and institutions, donors, and friends who make our work possible.

In 2025, we will celebrate a very special milestone: the tenth anniversary of the Church and Social Center of San Antón, consolidating its position as an essential refuge for those most in need. Furthermore, the Golden Telephone will reach its 30th anniversary, reaffirming its position as a fundamental pillar of support for seniors.

We want to close this message with hope and excitement for 2025. May it find us more united and stronger, prepared to face the challenges ahead, always with the certainty that a better world is possible and that together we can make it a reality.

We hope you continue to join us.

A big hug

OUR VOLUNTEERS

Thanks to our volunteers, we not only continue working on our projects, but we also move forward, strengthen bonds, and address the challenges and basic needs of many people. Their availability, dedication, and empathy create a welcoming, close, and optimal environment in each of our projects, in addition to bringing that closeness to those who need us most. We move forward through support, training, and meetings where we share new challenges together.

We remain aligned with the SDGs and committed to social transformation through corporate volunteering, which has seen the addition of new, highly committed companies throughout the year, allowing their employees, through various social action programs, to participate in actions with us, thus contributing to our impact on society

2024 ECONOMIC REPORT
Some elderly people projects, such as nursing homes, day centers, and home care, are managed by the Golden Age Association, whose accounts are separate from those of the Mensajeros de la Paz Association. These accounts can be consulted in the National Registry of Associations and are available at www.mensajerosdelapaz.com. The difference between total income and expenses was financed with its own funds.
